There was a lot of work that we never anticipated by doing it independently but in the long run it has been way more gratifying for us.
We're all pursuing different things. These pursuits are touched upon in the new material and thematically I think it all comes together in this EP.
My songs blend honesty and dishonesty and trade on the listener not knowing the difference.
It kind of stopped that fear we had of what we can and can't do and we really became fearless about everything.
I think the material shows hope for a better future, you can't lose sight of that because otherwise they have already won.
