THE DROP FESTIVAL 2019
Back for its second year running, bigger and better than before, today The Drop Festival announces its returning with two new locations in 2019. Supported by triple j, The Drop will bring together big names in music and professional surfing for a celebration of music, surf, community culture, and a love of the ocean. Hitting the shores of Coolangatta, Torquay and Margaret River as well as the two new locations Newcastle and Manly.
Following the waves and endorsing the quintessential Australian road trip, The Drop takes place alongside the three Australian WSL Championship Tour events at Snapper Rocks in Coolangatta, Bells Beach in Torquay & Margaret River in WA – with two exciting additional stops WSL Qualifying Series events Surfest Newcastle & the Vissla Sydney Surf Pro in Manly.
The Drop encourages a lifestyle of good food, art, culture and beautiful surrounds to be enjoyed with your favourite people. Set within the backdrop of athleticism, drama and adventure of the greatest surfing events on the planet. “I’m thrilled to be working alongside the legends at the Drop Festival for the 2019 tour.

The Drop Festival Director. Last years festival bill included SAFIA, Dune Rats, San Cisco, Holy Holy and Ruby Fields. Announcing early next year, the lineup for The Drop 2019 includes more of the countries biggest names in music. Stay tuned.
